Martin Barrett Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 You may have noticed that I feel I shouldn't have been given the Qiz point for Moto Guzzi, benelli engined 400GTS Jaap has taken steps to invalidate my mock E-bay auction to encourage him to take the Quiz point. So I'm asking you fellow Guzzisti to cast your votes.
Martin Barrett Posted October 30, 2005 Author Posted October 30, 2005 Jaap, it looks like it unanimous You think the poll needs to be open longer
coz1100 Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Sorry Martin, but the quiz says: "Now for something different. The quiz point for this one will be given to whoever finds the bore, stroke, compression ratio and carburetor size. You can try and guess the make and model too but no point for that!!" Now Jaap did lend you a hand with that rather juicy hint but you where the first to put down the info. Sorry bud, looks like your sruck with it.
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 I think you will be stuck with it. I may be wrong but it seems Jaap chose not to post the right answer.
dlaing Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Martin, Get a life! YOU ARE STUCK WITH THIS POINT. Why can't you just understand what Jim wrote? "You can try and guess the make and model too but no point for that!!" But then again, following that logic, maybe I should get the point for when you posted the link to an answer, but I posted the answer. http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6279 But I was the only one who voted for me! The voters said nobody should get that one. <_>
belfastguzzi Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Martin!! Geta Life!! Give all your points away and start anew and unfettered. (psst,, give 'em to a good cause – me)
Guzzirider Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Yes I notice you are embarassingly lacking in quiz points BFG. I'll sell mine to you a tenni each.
TX REDNECK (R.I.P.) Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 But I was the only one who voted for me! I feel sad for david You should have done what I did & vote for yourself at least a couple of times
belfastguzzi Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Blistering blue barnacles! DL has a Match Point and I'll bet he never even fulfilled the challenge! Is there lawyer in the house? or even in the Garage Mahalo??
jrt Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Yes I notice you are embarassingly lacking in quiz points BFG. 65317 Yeah, but he's trying to make up for it with ONE BIG POINT Why the heck don't both youse guys take the point? Jaap can have it on even and Martin can have it on odd weeks. Or you can do a MWF/ TTh thing and alternate weekends. There's far too many steady relationships around here, obviously.
dlaing Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Blistering blue barnacles! DL has a Match Point and I'll bet he never even fulfilled the challenge! Is there lawyer in the house? or even in the Garage Mahalo?? 65321 shhhhhhh! I also gave myself a quiz point and too jollywrenchers, but don't tell anyone.
Guest Nogbad Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 shhhhhhh!I also gave myself a quiz point and too jollywrenchers, but don't tell anyone. 65377 dl, I noticed that. Problem is, just as I manage to earn a quiz point, the item seems to have become an object of dispute, and sadly devalued. How can we tell now between a genuine quiz point, and the fake quiz point. As for the match point, it is simply the product of a deranged mind, but like the "Madonna of Port Legat" may acquire a patina of legitimacy with the passage of time and the necessary death of its inventor.
