The further the ratchet arm goes towards the casing the more stress on the spring. Set up right, in conjunction w/eccentric screw on shift plate this should give more positive change & least stress on spring? No doubt Guzzi'll be mailing out these little gizmos to us any day now... Gallo have you measured the pawl arm spring boss? KB
belfastguzzi Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 I'm thinking of adding an aluminium sleeve over the pin – as I did with the fast idle mech roller who needs screw adjusters? Not sure what to do about the clutch yet: you used to be able to buy aluminium dinner plates in the camping store...
