Guzzirider Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 90% of the americanos,if they just can fit some really ugly american foot pegs to it will be purrfect 68116 Dont forget apehangers too!
Martin Barrett Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Snarl. You beat me to it. I thought I was in line for a quiz point at last. 68114 That's the Arrow, the one above is the Leader, same bike different tin work. I think there was either a super, silver or golden arrow but can't remember which
Admin Jaap Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 I built the Arrow Airfix model long ago...
belfastguzzi Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 That's the Arrow, the one above is the Leader, same bike different tin work.68120 I'll NEVER get a quiz point
docc Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 90% of the americanos,if they just can fit some really ugly american foot pegs to it will be purrfect 68116 Let's hope. Maybe if piaguzzi gets the formula right , it may justify a legitamate parts-service network. And, obviously, none will jetison their V11 for one of these. Let's hope the idea is to successfully attract some new blood. Some strange. Imagine out testing these similar looking ST's. After a ride on the sedate BMW, one good rip on the Gooz and anyone with a pulse for the brio of motoring will be hooked. ( and thanks to Orange-o for the insight into the popularity of world football. I just didn't get it til now. Pray for rain. )
DeBenGuzzi Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 I'll get you a quiz point Belfast I'll just put up a pic of some honda or something and you guess it first, what time is good for you or someone else will get it?
belfastguzzi Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 I'll get you a quiz point Belfast I'll just put up a pic of some honda or something and you guess it first, what time is good for you or someone else will get it? 68131 That's exactly what I wanted. I should probably post the answer first, so that no-one else can get in, then you do a quick google and follow up with the picture and question.
edge Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 90% of the americanos,if they just can fit some really ugly american foot pegs to it will be purrfect 68116 Did you really mean to say that?? Maybe they could add training wheels for the Sweeds like on this beemer it would be purrfect. http://www.bmw-motorrad.co.za/bikes/news/default.asp?Id=391 Jaap, feel free to jump in any time now that we escalated to international finger poking
coz1100 Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I'd seen those on goldwings years ago. Kinda hoped that they had stopped doing that.
orangeokie Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I really like this idea better than the fully faired Norge.
gthyni Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Maybe they could add training wheels for the Sweeds like on this beemer it would be purrfect. No wheels, skis! I said 90%, there is always a 10% faction to join
edge Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Instead of the out riggers, here's one for the front! http://www.pcracingusa.com/motoski.php Ride safe
jrt Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I really like this idea better than the fully faired Norge. 68154 Is this (picture deleted) a photoshop?
Martin Barrett Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Is this (picture deleted) a photoshop? 68204 Ah the avatar bug strikes, it's still there and I've just refreshed, but I did save a copy just incase try this attatchment
mike wilson Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Think it's been at the Mandello factory since the 1950's, at least. Got these pics from Google images: http://www.motorcyclemisadventures.com/ita...nd_tunnel_1.jpg & http://www.motorcyclemisadventures.com/ita...nd_tunnel_3.jpg 67914 That was my understanding. Allegedly, it was not "big enough" to use for the new models. Don't see how that could be if it was used for the Spada, as advertised in the 1970s. mike more of an air brake .....a lot more
