Thanks but all the pictures I could find were of 1948 models and they didn't look like that. So I started at the other end of the production run. Where did the picture come from?

Sorry Mike, I cannot tell you. This is my source of information.

Moto Guzzi has started the production of the Gambalunghino in 1948.

This was the alternative model of the Gambalunga.

 

You maybe have got that right Mike. The picture could be from 1951.

 

But……what the heck! You have got the point. :thumbsup:

For me, the point is not the point 8-) I am intensely curious about motorcycle history. I am not arguing with you, just want to know.

 

Another unanswered question.......
