now, I am excited. Chicks aside. Anyone noticed that piaggio has wheeled out the Laverda 1000 prototype once again? Its utterly gorgeous. Now, whats up with that, they officially announced it as dead a couple of years ago??

That's a a two year's old picture, unfortunately.

Laverda is sadly dead for good.

Well, actually they are history too. They were imported and re-badged ( I don't remember if they are made by kymco or some other far east manufacturer) Laverda but the last official press release of Laverda dates April 2004.

I assume on local level resellers and importers network are still selling them but the Laverda brand no longer exist.
