ferguzzi Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Just got back from the tax office to finally switch my uk reg to an Irish one, and surprise surprise, they had no info on my type of bike. So the nice man gives me a list of bikes, and says are any of these close enough? The closest thing was rosso Mondello(sic). So my Tenni is now officially a misspelled red thing.
docc Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 You could have registered it as a Scura. But then youm'd have to be looking over yourshoulder all the time.
Guest Easto Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 If you don't mind me asking, how much did it set you back(Paying the illegal VRT). I am in a similar position, english plates riding over here but just cant bring myself to give the government more money.
ferguzzi Posted November 21, 2005 Author Posted November 21, 2005 I got away without paying anything,as I'd lived in the uk for a little over a year. Whereabouts are you?
DeBenGuzzi Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 My insurance company has no knowledge or anything on the entire new guzzi lines my bike is registered as a ,somewhat rare why would they know about it but not a V11?, 1100 Qouta, and I pay pennies on the dollar
