DeBenGuzzi Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 Hey Anthony - glad to hear of another V11 LeMans owner out there in Maryland. Where did you get both bikes? Mine came from Speed's. Hey DeBen - my recent addition of a PCIII USB has given me a nice boost in roll on and throttle response. Last week she yanked up a very nice 1st gear power wheelie. No need for bumps, just grab a hand full of throttle and hang on. I will roll off the throttle a bit to compress the forks, then whack it open. Before the PCIII I could do this showboating, but with less height and some ping along with it. Now just a smooth roar from the Ti's. Man I hate winter comming on now 69530[/snapback] I will try this technique you speak of next time I have her out. She'll come up on take off if I gun it too hard not clutching it. And if I hit a bump and rip it but I'll try this compressing the forks trick. I'm not much for showing off or getting crazy I don't exactly practice but sometimes I like to show that my big goose can do almost as good as the gixxer just ahead of me. Funny note I was riding with a bunch of asains on crotch rockets just ran into them on a twisty road we came to one of two hairpins and I lean into take the turn well all of them just about stop to make the turn(as in not even trying to take a line or lean) and if the goose wasn't so stable I would have taken out 3 of'em I just gripped the brakes and almost rubbed my knee after that I got away from those retards they were just looking for the straights to floor it roll off and floor it again....

I kept getting smoked in the straight aways, but as a soon as the roads got twisty, I got back in it and more. The upgrades keep me out in front between the twists. But the best part, I not buying gas as often as those guys
jrt Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 You might call up Mike Rich to get his assessment on modding your Le Mans. He did the work on the land speed record guzzi. My understanding is that Mike took over from Manfreds old Raceco business? Mike Rich Motorsports 21 Jerusalem Hollow Road Manorville, New York 11949 (631) 874-7032

Alex-Corsa Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 I was looking for the twin spark option, but didn't find any info. Who does the twin spark work? I didn't think of the cam work and I'll probably do the valves with the piston this spring. AFAIK there are some noticable differences in twin spark such as some economy on gas and increase of torgue and some PS (6-10% ), But personally have not tried it yet. Dunno about US but here in Europe you can find very good specialists on the twin spark option(and more) for the Guzzi here Moto Spezial Daes Mototec Perhaps you should drop some emails there and see IF and what can be done.
