Guest travisunderwood Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 I am confused, where any of the V11 Sports stock with ohlins rears? If so which years? I am hopefully picking up a 2001 - has gold chamber but didnt see Ohlins on it so trying to determine if it is sachs or ohlins. thanks
Mike Stewart Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 Nope, the earliest was the Scura in 2002 and many complained about the Ohlins rear shock being too stiff on that model. Should have the Sucks shock. Mike I am confused, where any of the V11 Sports stock with ohlins rears? If so which years? BrianG Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 Somebody on here did a decent job of crafting the Penske unit to the V-11S
al_roethlisberger Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 That would be the same Mike Stewart above He went "round and round" with Penske and Ohlins until he helped them(Penske) figure out the right stroke/piston length, etc.... for the V11. al

An Ohlins, or other, brand shock should be prominently labelled somewhere on the shock or nitrogen reservoir. Just give it a close look. al
