Sort of a payback for 1990. It would be huge, but we've been there before. Just hope we play like it.

Maybe next generation

Admin Jaap Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 Even if we are kicked out in the first round: 4 Dutch coaches in a World Cup. Must be some kind of record. Marco van Basten - Netherlands @#$$#! Advocaat - S. Korea Leo Beenhakker - Trinidad & Tobago and our local hero: Guus Hiddink - Australia My personal favourite is again Costa Rica. They won't survive the first round, but I love that country. Been there in 2001 on holidays. I even bought the national tricot when I was there.

Costa Rica beat Sweden 2-1 in 1990, it was a national trauma England and Sweden should make it but Paraguay is a bit scary, they often make from whatever group, and are difficult to play against.
Guzzirider Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 Some of the games are during rally season: 10th June England V Paraguay- Erin (Irish) rally 15th June England V Trinidad and Tobago- On ferry to Boxmeer! 20th June England v Sweden- no rallies The Netherlands have a game on the Friday night of Boxmeer against the Ivory coast- time for a big screen telly I think.
