NHSTA directs me to the manufacturer via 1-877-APRILLIA; this number defers callers to Piaggio @ (212)-380-4400, however this number does not allow the caller access to saftey recall information. I've tried to get historical information on this bike through Carfax but it says the VIN is not listed! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Recalled for inspection of drivetrain: Frames ZGUKR0000YM112131 to ZGUKR00001M114639, ZGUKS00001M111111 to ZGUKS00001M111147, ZGUKS00001M211111 to ZGUKS00001M211162. The only way to see if your bike has been recalled is to ask former owners, or open it up and check it. That was what I was told I was told when I bought mine.
