mdude Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Can any of the european gentlemen lead me in the direction where, under the end of a rainbow,I can find a C-key for adjusting the Sachs rear shock preload? Enough destruction....
Guest Nogbad Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Even with a C key, you can't get at it without a lot of hassle. I have heard people use a hammer and drift to move the lockrings. If ever a bike needed a shock with remote preload adjustment, this one is it.
Guzzirider Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Most hardware shops will sell you a universal c spanner if you do have the exact size. If you get no luck I will post you one of mine to borrow and you can return when you have finished. Guy
g.forrest Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 ''i dont consider myself as europeean nor a gentleman..but brass drifts ..selection of..as well as selection of varied weight hammers is a must. c spanners adjust more flesh than shocks.. Can any of the european gentlemen lead me in the direction where, under the end of a rainbow,I can find a C-key for adjusting the Sachs rear shock preload? Enough destruction.... 73190[/snapback]
