Guzzirider Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 A spokesman for Moto Guzzi denied all knowledge of this bike in this weeks MCN. That picture is a computer mockup from the artists at MCN- not a picture from the Guzzi factory. Saying that, I hope they do make it! Guy
mdude Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I hope not, theres too many two-wheeled SUVs out there as it is. They have all been run into the ugly tree at least two times. Give us poor souls a proper sportsbike pumping out tidal waves of torque! I want clip-ons!
Guzzirider Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Yes but the dual sport market is growing fast and if Guzzi make lots of money from selling Stelvios they may actually be able to afford developing a new sports bike- they will need the cash first. Guy
callison Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 MG was denying the existence of the Norge initially too. BTW, my Ural is (laughingly) called a Sports Utility Motorcycle, not an SUV. Given it's military origin that fits, although the "sport" part might be pushing it a tad. I don't think there are truly two wheeled SUV's in the same sense that the cagers have SUV's. Some of the current dual purpose bikes are a tad large or heavy (Quota?) but they were never about having spinner hubcaps, chrome brush guards and all of that crap, so they might more purposefully be called SUM's.

Frenchbob Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Me like. 74280 Me, too. I want one, and I want one now. Too heavy for the dirt, ugly as sin, brutal, wonderful!
Guest Nogbad Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Looks like a BMW. Rj 74321 It's a BMW GS Clone probably with about the capability of a Buell Ulysses, the reliability of the old Quota and the weight of a Rune. They can keep it. Yuk
Frenchbob Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Mad Max, here we come. [Nogbad, I was being ironic!]
