Alex-Corsa Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 So -- will he win this series going away -- or will his smooth riding style not suit WSBK? Don't care what anybody says, the man can ride!!!!!!!!!! Time will tell , Foggy was the king, although.A TT racer as well before he went to SBK
Keith Foster Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Max will get his arse kicked by Corser 74379 It will be a very interesting season, I'll be watching these races much more than I did this past year. Remember Bayliss will also be back in the mix. Barros will too, but he's hot and cold IMHO. I'll pull for Max for the underdog factor, but my money would be bet on Troy B.
grossohc Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Nah, if Haga,s yam is as good as the end of last season he will win.
g.forrest Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 on corser. whatever it makes for a good field. but max will put the whinge factor in. Nah, if Haga,s yam is as good as the end of last season he will win. 74399
jihem Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 the end of the WSBK season was very hot indeed and Corser wasn't as easy as in the earlier 2005 stage.. and this year, we have ppl going there with a vengeance: Troy Bayliss, Xaus, Max who undoubtely thinks the crown should be given to him RIGHT NOW, and Corser isn't ready to give it up anyway plus Haga, Walker, etc... let's not forget the new young italian talent that rides the second official Ducati...
coz1100 Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 hmm appears to have crapped out on me, How about this one I like this bike better too. 74352 Triumph intraduces it's new air bag system But with the tradition of the new 675 they went with the slimmer look. Passanger bags optional.
g.forrest Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 i agree theres no shoe in. lets hope for best season ever. the end of the WSBK season was very hot indeed and Corser wasn't as easy as in the earlier 2005 stage.. and this year, we have ppl going there with a vengeance: Troy Bayliss, Xaus, Max who undoubtely thinks the crown should be given to him RIGHT NOW, and Corser isn't ready to give it up anyway plus Haga, Walker, etc... let's not forget the new young italian talent that rides the second official Ducati... 74408
Guzzirider Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 I can't wait for it all to start again. Xaus is out of the picture for the meantime- he has broken his leg in a motocross accident but he crashed too much to be a serious contender anyway. Obviously Corser will be one of the favourites but as you say Bayliss will be up their too as will Lanzi who I think knows the tracks because he rode in WSS. Dont write off Toseland- a rubbish season last year by his standards but he seems fresher now and will have a very fast Ten Kate Honda. Haga will win some races but he needs consistency if he is to win. Chris Walker will ride his heart out on the Kwacker and may get a few podiums. I hope Max is up for it for the sake of the championship but he is not a fairing basher- lets see how it copes when it gets nasty as it usually does- will he be a man and join in or throw his toys out of the pram? Its a pity because the of the control tyre rules we don't have any wildcards anymore- Lavilla, Haslam and Byrne from British superbikes could beat any of these guys at Brands or Donnington, as I am sure could some of the AMA guys at Lacuna Seca. g.forrest Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 me thinks yes max will throw the toys out, because he won't cut the mustard against his new oposition, as he couldn't in moto gp, he'll throw the towel again, and lose more support. he's an excellent rider, but has issues he can't overcome. I can't wait for it all to start again. Xaus is out of the picture for the meantime- he has broken his leg in a motocross accident but he crashed too much to be a serious contender anyway.
