I guess the culture has been here, but always on the fringes. Wish I brought my camera today. I arrived late and saw maybe five rockers and forty mods. I guess the mods kicked their asses and all the rockers split except for the tough ones like Todd and Rich. But it was a glorious sound when they fired up the scooters!
Guzzirider Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 There is a scooter club which meets in a pub near me every Wednesday and to give them their due, they always turn out in numbers whether it rains, snows or shines. Guy

But it was a glorious sound when they fired up the scooters! Were you sniffin' too rich of Tuneboy fumes on the way there David? I did get a hint of much Castor oil though... the patchouli of the mods perhaps? Surely you meant that it would've been glorious to hear all of the different twins light off. Glad you made it, albeit briefly. Rich and I purposely left late as to hopefully avoid any carnage or oil misted roads. Great weather made for a great turn out. Pics HERE.
Martin Barrett Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Great weather made for a great turn out. Pics HERE. 74650[/snapback] Thank you for sharing. Some fine bikes there. Weather wise we're just cold and damp and greasy and wet. I seem to be living my charmed life and missing the worse of the rain. It always seems to have a slight break when it's Guzzi time (commute to and fro work) I don't mind so much getting wet on the way home, but it's not so much fun on the way to work.

I would have mad more of an effort to get there on time, if I had a clue there would be a good turnout. At the rally I only counted a couple of Ton Up gents.... And here there were only a few SoCal Geezers.... Oh, well. But, Great Pics, Todd!
