Putting my bike on its it mg stand today to take off the back wheel today, decided to put down a bit of wood under the stand so it would raise the bike another 20mm anyway the wheel on the other side of the stand did not go on the wood so taking it back off the bike fell over abit (i had one hand on the handlebar) right against the garage wall smashing the mirror  so looking for new mirrors, any suggestions.

Oh boy! Theres so many choices its not funny. You can try Rizomas website for inspiration. I'm thinking about going with bar end mirrors this year. Does anyone know if you can have bar end mirrors with throttlemeister bar ends? I'd like the looks of that combo myself. One things for sure... the stock mirrors are just not worthy of the v11 :2c:

I've got the Rizoma "Reverse" mirrors on my V11. Beautiful but not very useful.

The Napoleons are cheaper (way) and much more functional -- probably the best choice now that Alberts are no longer made.

Also, the CRG barends are works of art -- but haven't used them so can't pass judgement.

I bough a crashed LeMans in November. I went the cheap route and bought Buell Firebolt mirrors. They are not a match, reach out farther. But... you can by both sides for less that the price of 1 Guzzi mirror, if you could get a new Guzzi part that is...

The more I hear about these genuine MG stands the more I like

my $49.00 PEP Boys....and the more I wonder why there's NO CENTER STAND.

Gonna win a race or something? Sheesh.

The Breva got a centerstand?

Oops...er...sorry about your mirror. And I had a real low tire today

so I'm on my centerstand war path again. Turned out to be just the valve.

I've had too many bikes fall over in the garage. Sorry for the mishap. I'm sure someone here will hook you up with a mirror. I really like my CRGs but never try to tell if that blur in the image is maybe a Crown Vic. I can tell if the lights are flashing but then it's too late. :(

To gather enough height with the factory stand to remove the rear tire simply place a 1" flat board under the handle of the stand. This angles the lift up just a bit without any additional instability. :2c:

It was not the mg stand at fault it was my own stupidity :homer: but anyway i dont think i would like bar end mirrors as they would scratch against cars/trucks filtering through traffic. away to fit my cb750 mirrors for now and go out for a run.
