Guest Ian Mottram Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 If you have run out of fuel just after the low fuel level warning light came on try removing the fuel tap and built in filter mine was blocked with sealant from the tank fittings up to a third of the hight of the filter 10<15 mm I have not yet retried the resereve but if you have no fuel your not going very far..
docc Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 I've had this as well. Very easy to remove and clean which is likely to increase your effective range. Thanks, Ian!

dlaing Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 That filter should be a regular service item. Probably with the first and every other fuel filter change....like the fuel hoses...
