I need the third and the “manicotti scorrevole” Infact is: Ingranaggio terza + manicotti scorrevole. Sorry guys, I don’t know how translate this tecnical terms Is someone on this forum who knows somebody (Mike Rich or Ferracci or what ever) Who makes pieces look a like for the Moto Guzzi. Especially the V11. Maybe is ou there also in Germany somebody too. grazie
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Google says this Ingranaggio terza + manicotti scorrevole means this Flowing gear third + muffs. Not much help. Sorry Antonio.
Paul Minnaert Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I don't get it antonio. Your bike is at a dealer, you know people in mandello, and now you ask if some american makes copies of gearbox parts??? explain please. It would be helpfull if you took the partslist and lookup the numbers from what you need, then we know what it is. but is a manicottO there are 2 used: 04 21 49 00 2 Manicotto scorrevole 3°-5°-4°-6° Moveable hose 3°-5°-4°-6°=114,68 € 04 21 39 00 2 Manicotto scorrevole 1°-2° Moveable hose 1°-2° = 84,62 € from the Ingranaggio terza this consists of 2 gears: 04 21 14 00 1 Ingranaggio 3° vel. (Z=22) Gear 3rd sp. (Z=22)= 78,28 € 04 21 47 00 1 Ingranaggio 3° vel. (z=30) Gear 3rd sp. (z=30) = 131,30 €
Anthony Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Based on Antonio's description, I got the same part numbers as Paul. They are: 04 21 14 00 - one piece, a 3rd Gear (Z=22) on the main shaft, and the other is 04 21 47 00 - one piece, a 3rd Gear (Z=30) on the upper lay shaft. I checked the Ferracci site and did not see anything for transmission parts. I'll check another site and update this reply if I find something.
Greg Field Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 I recently had to get one of these to get a customer's bike back on the road. Knowing I could not get it from Piaggio USA, I bought one from Agostini.
antonio carroccio Posted January 31, 2006 Author Posted January 31, 2006 I don't get it antonio. In fact my bike was dead for almost four months. At Motortoer, they have fixed it but a day later was the problem again in my gearbox. So, possible is the steel quality they use or I have got the selector that is not on the right axel with the third. I have asked on this forum if somebody knows somebody who makes copies of the third gear. To make a order in Mandello is easy, but if someone has an alternative and this seems to be better, why not give it a try…..? Paul, in the future, do not be that sever to me, will you?
Paul Minnaert Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 well antonio, if you don't trust your box internals, get another one, last week one was sold for 500 euro on ebay. isn't more expensive as a repair. A brand new box is sold by hmb-guzzi.
