Admin Jaap Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Congratulations on your daughter! Cool, a new tiny moderator.
Martin Barrett Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Congratulations. A life changing experience will change your whole out look on life.
rossoct Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Jason, Congrats!! Best wishes to you and your family. Chris
Guest roofer1 Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Congratulations!! Catalina, your little gem, is beautiful! I have two of my own (boy & girl) and are the greatest blessing you can have here on earth! Again, Congratulations. Roofer1 She might be small, but she is mighty as they say. On tuesday, my wife gave birth to our first child- a daughter. Catalina weighed in at 3790 g (8#6oz, or 0.6 stone). Both are healthy and recovering from the trauma. Having participated in labor/delivery, I have gained a hell of a lot of respect for any women that can go through that. I couldn't. A toast to women and children- hope yours are healthy and happy. I'm looking forward to taking her to the Guzzi rallies- guess it's time to get the sidecar going. If only she wasn't going to grow, she'd fit into a pannier. just kidding. couple of pictures (3-400K, so I don't want to link them directly into the thread): http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a353/jtsjf/Sonya_Cat.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a353/jtsjf/SJF_CAT.jpg 77024[/snapback]

Sometimes I wish I hadn't waited so long for our first Al
big J Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Congratulations and well done to the three of you. Have you had a good life? Cos it's over now Just kiddin, they're a full time job,but worth every second.
Guest ratchethack Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Jason, my most hearty congratulations (again!) to you and your family! IMHO, your choice of name for your daughter is simply SUPERLATIVE! Catalina is one of the most magical places on earth, IMHO! Avalon Harbor, Catalina on board Silver Fox, June '04:
big J Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 ????? The aeroplane, surely? Not a harbour,Jason, tell me you didn't name your wee girl after a harbour for gods sake.
Guest ratchethack Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 The PBY Catalina was ALSO named after the Island. A sailing pal of mine named his daughter after the largest town and main Harbor at Catalina - Avalon. I'd venture a guess that Jason and his bride have been there? Such has frequently been the inspiration for daughter's names...
big J Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Hang on,didn't BSA make a Catalina? That'll be it,of course! He's a romantic, old Jason I'll bet,and she'll remind him of all the great times he had on his ole beezer. Phew
Guest Nogbad Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 There was I being thoughtful and not asking why he named his child after an antique seaplane in case I upset him. Why did I bother?
Frenchbob Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Congratulations, JRT. I suspect that Guzzi owners make the best parents, so Guzzi forum moderators.......well!
