Mike Stewart Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Labor is one thing, but the paint cost an arm and an leg at least in California. I just purchased two pints of color, quart of reducer, a quart of clear and cataylist and it came out to $180.00 with a discount And I still need some primer and plastic adhesion promoter. Mike I'm having a buddy of mine do a modified copa paint scheme for my tank he is school for body shop and very talented he'll do it for next to nothing too. its hard to explain but I will certainly post pics when its done and after I get the new tail section the bike will flow again. 77374[/snapback]
DeBenGuzzi Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 DAAAAMMMMNNNNN, I'll have to look into these paints then. I'll ask him what the best route is $200 is alright if it comes out great.
Guest PAULSMART Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 today I've had an eureka moment!!!! Well it pulled up next to me at the traffic lights - the New Mini!!!! there are plenty of vinyl stripe kits available for them, so I'm of web searching now to locate a suitable stripe - should be cheap too, so I can remove if don't like and try another!!! Paul
docc Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 The striped Centauros were tributes to the racing Cooper S. ( Pre-new Mini).
