Paul Minnaert Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 cp racing italy Maybe they had the first totaled one:-)
richard100t Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Paint those valve covers red & we might have a sale!
Baldini Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Why didn't Guzzi put the frame rails down there all along?
DeBenGuzzi Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 looks like an aprilia ass maybe MV tank could be a total body bodge off an aprilia.
zebulon Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 it seems to be a kawazaki front fairing, with a ducati supersport tank. Like often the fork is an aprilia factory one, we are several to use this one
dlaing Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Why didn't Guzzi put the frame rails down there all along? 78631[/snapback] Isn't that frame kind of ugly? I guess if it works we'll go with it. The spine frame is a good design because it allows good access for repairs and service, and it works well with the V twin design. The spine frame is not likely to be as rigid as a semi-perimeter frame, like the Griso's. But I don't like how the Griso's frame bends around the throttle bodies and cylinder heads...but if it works fine, and is not too heavy, I suppose it is good. It just is not as pretty as a Ducati trelis frame, or any of Tonti's work. But I am prejudging, as I have not seen the complete frame.
mdude Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 perhaps not pretty, but brutal. looks a bit like a civilized DYnotec Godzilla. I want....

DeBenGuzzi Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 I was right, thats aprilia RSV all the way around, the tank MIGHT be ducati but all the body work is RSV
