Skeeve Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 "What part of 'Slower drivers use turnouts' do you not understand?" Unfortunately all of it- whats a "turnout"? 78826 A turn-out is a section of paved (or at least graded) surface off to the side of the 2 lane roadway situated such that slow drivers can easily exit, pause, & reenter the roadway in order to allow the 2 miles of traffic they're holding up behind them to pass!

We don't have them. Shouldn't the sticker be in reverse on the front? We have passing places on single track roads in the wilds Highlands of scotland.
DeBenGuzzi Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 I wonder if these ppl make bumper stickers.
Allan1956 Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 In Australia the government has this pre occupation with speed, cause if they can convince all those idiots out there to slow down there won't be any deaths on the roads. They have the expensive campaign 'EVERY K OVER IS A KILLER" My sticker taint really a "bumper sticker" 'cause it's on the back of my helmet: EVERY K OVER IS A THRILLER
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 British Columbia liquor board came out with a bumper sticker for an anti drink and drive campaign a few years back. It stated "If you drink - then drive, you're a bloody idiot". Unfortunately for them it could be cut horizontally and it produced two great bumper stickers. If you drink - then drive and you're a bloody idiot They stopped making them soon after that!
BrianG Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 A locally seen one, "Earth First, we'll log the other planets later". Ciao, Steve G. 79008 This was a forestry industry response to a group of "environmentalists" called Earth First. They were protesting loggind in the interior of BC, near Golden, and all of them wore green tee-shirts with an Earth First logo, which was a pictorial planet earth with "EARTH FIRST" text arched over the picture. The local forestry workers either got a hold of a bunch of these tee-shirts or reproduced them, and then had "We'll log the other planets later" silk screened on the back, or under the logo on the front. It was a humorous, non-violent confrontation of perspectives.

More replenishing of the forest and responsible logging techniques. but for anything there are hippies against it; peta, greenpeace, baby seals. If they had someone with a brain among them to make a coherent argument they might fare better.
Tracey Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 NGC A shooting friend if mine has this on his pickup truck: Guns kill people like spoons made Rosie ODonnel fat!
joe camarda Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 KILL THE SEALS. NUKE THE WHALES. PRAY FOR WAR.
TX REDNECK (R.I.P.) Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 U.s.A. 20 million illegal aliens can't be wrong
QuatroValvole Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Seen many years ago on a loggers pickup in Oregon, "I hope all you environmentalist bastards freeze to death in the dark". Parked in front of a cafe that advertised "Spotted owl burgers"
jrt Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Here's two: IT'S HARD TO MAKE A COMEBACK WHEN YOU HAVEN'T BEEN ANYWHERE. I USED TO BE INTO NECROPHILIA AND BEASTIALITY....BUT THEN I REALIZED I WAS JUST KICKING A DEAD HORSE.
