beauchemin
I am calling my doctor. I must be going deaf! For long trips I notice the wind noise/fatigue and leg cramps way b4 the pipes bother me. I've found that wearing earplugs is the only way to get rid of wind noise and thus reduce fatigue on long rides. Also, hearing damage due to excessive noise is cumulative -- wear earplugs or eventually go deaf!
Greg Field
For a heavy old carbed bike it goes. Mine gets 47 MPG on secondary roads at 50-55 MPH, and it's not slow. It's not in the same league as the V11 but for a 1000cc 1985 Police Bike it's no slouch. (Better front brakes sure would help!) 84872 Try EBC HH pads. They make a huge improvement on F08 caliper like hose on a Cal II. The number is FA-18HH. We have 'em at MI, or they are available from a number of other sources. dlaing
the pipes could be a bit louder. 84362 Just out of curiousity, you might look to see if they have E3 stamped on them somewhere. I know Mistral offers mufflers in regular and E3. Does Mistral make the Ti that Guzzi sells?
