g.forrest Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 replaced my shagged bridgestones 020 rear, 014 front after 9500 km. put on set of michelin pilots. power on front road on rear. first two short rides on damp roads was not a good test, but helped to scrub in with no dramas.however first ride showed that the michelins give a better ride than the battalaxs.the jarring i had some problem with, is now not an issue. i had tried to dial out the this jarring with suspension adjustment but would lose handling quality. so for now i'm most impressed with the michys. price i paid was the same as the bridgys.so time will tell as far as grip when scratching and the life span of the tyres. never had an issue with the grip of the bridgestones. ciao gazza .
g.forrest Posted February 19, 2006 Author Posted February 19, 2006 [ sport front, road on rear] the same combination i used with bridgestones.quote=docc,Feb 20 2006, 01:59 AM] Michelin Pilot "Sport" or Pilot "Road?" 79303[/snapback]
