macguzzi Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Please you gurus of all things motorcycling find this one hard (but I doubt it!)
belfastguzzi Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 No 80347 Moto Guzzi 125 2-stroke from the 90's ?
jrt Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Zundapp 250? More importantly, what's that sidecar-looking thing hanging on the wall?
mike wilson Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Benelli 250? 80418 Essentially the same, as you can see from these pics (you might have to wait for a redirect for the Guzzi) Bennelli http://epll.no-ip.com/pruebas/benelli2502c/bnli-4.JPG Guzzi http://www.bikez.com/pictures/large.php?im...ous%20user..jpg IAC not the pictured machine, which has iron barrels. And a bloody odd tank. Not some Y-series Yamaha with different tank and forks? m
macguzzi Posted February 28, 2006 Author Posted February 28, 2006 None of the above it is in standard factory trim as built
Martin Barrett Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 I was working as a starting point of backwards from the Yamaha RD200DX which I've got still in my mums garage, it has a strange mix of indicators square on front and round at rear The motocrosser I was looking at Bultacco Pursang (the blue colour) but the cylinder head has radial fining which reminds me of Maico but the yellow frame Huskvana - so I'm stumped on that The purple thing in the back , haven't a clue but dates it to early seventies The black one to the right I'd go for a ZZR Kawasaki but I'm not sure because of the upside down forks. I've not got very far ...............yet
macguzzi Posted February 28, 2006 Author Posted February 28, 2006 Good on the background but not the main item. background Bultaco Pursang mk 11 370cc
Frenchbob Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 It looks to have Italian headlamp, fuel tank and carbs, but Jap-style brake calipers. Something 70s Benelli, surely? Benelli 125 2C?
Admin Jaap Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Give us a clue! F.i. the brand of the piston ring on the floor.
macguzzi Posted March 1, 2006 Author Posted March 1, 2006 It's Italian and those brakes are made by Scarab, come on guys I thought you would get this one easy
