G-S Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Hi All, Only just found your web site. Looks great! Currently I ride a 2002 V11 LeMans (my Sunday have fun bike) and a Yamaha Diversion 900S (my commuter). I'm actually thinking about replacing the Yamaha with another Guzzi, possibly a Jackal. I know this site is mainly V11 based, but I'd also welcome comments from any readers about the California or Jackal models Thanks Geoff - (G-S) Castlemaine, Victoria - Australia.
g.forrest Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 welcome to the forum geoff, in my opinion it has much to offer enjoy and benefit. ciao gazza.
waspp Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Greetings Geoff, you have stumbled onto a great Guzzi site! Hope you enjoy and have fun. waspp
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Isn't there enough Aussies already? Oh well, they are kind of cute. Lets have another one!! Seriously I wish I was in OZ and all my bikes too. Talked to a good friend in Brisbane today and all I could hear was good biking weather. Somedays Canada sucks!
G-S Posted March 16, 2006 Author Posted March 16, 2006 LOL @ Cute. Actually Brisbane weather and where I am is about the difference between Florida and Maine. I also live in the Hills so winter mornings get down to about -5 Celsius and I have to contend with frosts and occasional snow. Brisbane weather is much nicer in winter
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Cheers mate! Glad to have you aboard! There is a lot of good fun and knowledge here on this forum so poke away and see what you can find!! Good luck! Jim
tikkanen Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Hi Geoff and welcome onboard. You'll find out that almost anything goes here - including motorcycles and totally insane topics, such as "What Time Is It?" - so don't feel ashamed to show your Cali. Check out the 'Bike of the Month' - it's Bill Hagan's fine looking Cali... Once again welcome to the mad world of V11 owners. Cheers Søren
antonio carroccio Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Yeah Jim, we have to make some tolerance here. Not too much of this people on this forum. The majority here are the Americans. And some weird Texans, who is working with taco people…… But Aussies, How many Aussies can we admit here on the forum??? Except TLM and Jasper of course.
