Make IMN Industria Meccanica Napoletana

Model 200

Country of Origin Italy

2 unique design features. 1) It was over-priced, 2) it was under-powered

It was an innovative shaft driven OHV horizontally opposed twin, built in 1956.

It had 2 nifty silencers with spaceship fins on 'em for helping to get yer boots off after a hard day's slow riding.

and was the model known as the 'Rocket', despite the unique design feature of being underpowered?

The suspension system seems odd. Does the whole engine & transmission unit pivot on a central pin? Crikey. That was going to be my next invention.

Oooooh! He's good. Now if only he would compare the frame to Ducati's trellis frame he just might have it!

Good enough for a measly point, surely?

It's a spring frame! Is that what your quiz title refers to?

(compare which frames?)

These frames!!!! The kind you run your wisteria or clamatis up!! You do have a clamatis, don't you?

The other design feature could be the use of telescopic forks.

Do you have proof that they telescope?

These frames!!!!

The ducati trellis frame is nearly always attached to a Ducati sportsbike engine.

Uniquely, this trellis frame is attached to a bottle-nose dolphin.

You do want blood from a stone, don't you?

The engine in a Ducati trellis is a stressed member. While this engine doesn't appear too 'stressed', it does appear to be an integral part of the frame structure, along with the trellis.

Oh well! Begrudgingly I beseach De Ben to bestow a be-bloody quiz point upon thee!! Be-bugger!

At least you got this one all on your own with no help from anyone!!

Cheers mate!
