felix42o Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Hey all, I'm still having a hell of a time tracking down an alternator for anything less than $300 for my Tenni. I'd just have it re-wound, but the rotor somehow came "out of round", and has been contacting the stator in one spot for awhile it looks like. The whole thing looks trashed. Anyways, I'll pay it if I have to-the weather is getting nice and I can't hold out much longer-but thought I'd see if anybody had any ideas first. I tried to pick one up from HMB Guzzi off Ebay, but he hasn't contacted me since the auction ended, I'm thinking maybe he doesn't want to ship to the US?
