Guest john45 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Oh man. Now you know my secrat God. My first bike was a Sears Puch that I converted to a real Puch with Betor forks and such. I actually sent messages through Sears to Harry Everts and somewhere I have a reply!!! Now I have to go deep in the basement bits!!! 85203 Harry was a real nice guy as I remember. The Heckel boots were the first attempt at a platic MX boot. Good protection but no feel. Lots of missed gears. I have some pictures of me wearing them, but unfortunately I can't got down to the basement and get 'em! The Puch Harry won the '75 250 MX World Title on was unique, It had 2 carbs, one feeding the crankcase through a rotary valve, and the other in a conventional configuration in the back of the cylinder.
Mike Stewart Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Bob raced a few years up at Reno, I could not find anything recent, but here is a few pics of the planes he flew. http://warbird.com/voodoo.html I think we should use the Reno Air Races as a Guzzi get together. Bikes and airplanes/helicopters go hand and hand. You know, gear heads. Mike By the way this may be Bob's aviation site!! BobHannah.com 85204
