While I understand your frustration with Rossi's continued dominance [although do not share it] , I'm willing to accept and enjoy what is a skill and determination dominance in Moto GP, rather than the mechanical/technology dominance which which has been the trend in Formula 1 for nearly 15 yrs. Very different things. In F1, basically, whoever has the most money wins. This is not the case in Moto GP, as evidenced with Rossi accepting less money to ride for Yamaha vs his years at Honda.

It wasn't that. It was a boring track. Only the midfield action was worth watching, although your compatriot put up an excellent show. Looking forward to more action from him as the season progresses.

I don't know where did you looking at, but have you seen the Ducati?

With Bridgestone hard compound tyres as the only one in the first 5 riders.

We are waiting for almost 30 years to see some Italian on an Italian bike kicking some ass on the track!

Damn. Let me say this. :helmet:

Capirex is the one who makes it true. :notworthy:

I dont think rossi is going to get it all his own way this season, but he will still win the championship. But what is yamaha going to do without him if he leaves, there isnt another yam rider coming close. :race:

Yamaha will -- quite simply -- return to crap. Sadly.

Honda and Ducati will duke it out -- and the series will become better (without Rossi). Perhaps the others will conspire to "sacrifice" one rider per race to take Rossi out at the beginning and let us see a race. Of course not, but wasn't Jerez a blast to watch?

Short of a MAJOR injury, Rossi's gonna win again...

Without Rossi, only Yamaha suffers.

So you want a second rate series cos you think you'll see closer racing? We're lucky to be around to see one of the greatest riders the sport's ever seen. The man's f'in awesome - ask Nicky Hayden - when he leaves, whatever the racing, it will be less.

While I would like Nicky Hayden to be from my country, and others would think that I sometimes sound like an American, I can asure you I am very much Canadian. No offence, just a geographic correction.

I don't think the subtraction of Superman from the series results in a second-rate series -- and please understand that I love Rossi. He's probably the best ever. It'd just be nice to go into Sundays wondering who's going to win.

And, dammit -- I miss Max. All this sportsmanship and kindness is killing me! :P

I wasn't talking about Hayden but Stoner. For some bizarre reason, I thought you were Australian when I was writing that post. My apologies.

Well, you have to define "better" but, if you mean faster and more competitive racing, then you need a Rossi. Although it's him rather than the Yamaha (allegedly) that people are trying to beat, that is the impetus for the other teams to improve their performance. If it is him rather than the machine, then you can be certain that Yamaha are working their fingers to the bone to give him extra leeway.

I've met Steve. He ain't no American and he is not an Australian and he may be considered 'unusual' as a Canadian but he does have a Laverda so he's alright in my books!!

I'm not really a Mike/Michelle Duff fan, just confused. He was a dashing young man, with the nicest looking European ladies, winning races at the top level. Then his need to 'change things' [no real problem with that]. But now comes word she/ he thinks it was a mistake, and now wants to go back to being Mike. I have serious issue with the Canadian taxpayer getting stuck for the bill for someone who can't figure out who they are, so give it a try one way for a while, then go back if it's not working out.

Regardless, you have to respect this person's skills as a roadracer, when the Isle of Man was on the GP circuit.
