I'm Alex, 31yo from Milan Italy.

I have been riding a Guzzi since age 20. My first was a 1977 T3 Cali which is now a sort of racer. I will post a pic soon. I recently bought (2 weeks ago, actually) a brand new V11 Cafe sport. For that I sold my V7 Sport S (ok.. dont kill me) restoration project. I own some older models also (galletto, zigolo, dingo....) and 1960 Slimline Pre-Unit Triton (ok.. not a Guzzi, sorry). Even though I graduated in economics, I do websites and graphic design to eat, because I like it and because I did not like my previous life as a travelling manager (too much time far away from my bikes). I like to get my hands dirty with bikes, beer and brbq, computers.

If you wanna know more about me and my bikes take a fast look at my personal website ( http://www.roadholder.co.uk ).

This is the best Guzzi website around. Compliments.

See you soon and thank you for this great collection of information about our loved bikes

Alex

(translation by dlaing - ok.. I will take again a look at verbs)

Salve Alex,

Welcome to the site! Good to have someone on board with basically the same work and hobbies as me.

Good choice on bikes! And there are lots of Brit bike lovers amongst us Guzzisti, so don't worry. :)

Hi Alex!

One of these days I would love to ride in Italy on my Guzzi.

Take Care and your English is just fine.

I like the V11 green Vespa in the back too!

Thanks to all of you for your comments. I like the green Lambretta as well (the pic is really blurry and it is not easy to see it well): I like the idea to have Mod and Rocker side in a same place :-)

To V50 man.... "I dont wanna be nobody's hero" ("Stiff Little Fingers" right?) :-)))

About the T3... the pic is not recent. This is he project of "a life". Most of custom bits were made by me in the past years. I keep drawings with measures somewhere, if somebody like them.

Ciao e a risentirci Giovanni #60 :helmet:

Alex, youv'e got some sweet iron in that garage! Triton is great but I am partial to your T3, as I have a 1978 I rescued from a junk yard a few years back and set it up as mild streetfighter. Welcome!

What! No way would I ever purport to correct those whose mother tongue is not English! We native English speakers should be ashamed of our lackadaisical attitude to learning other languages! We therefore should at least make the effort to speak (and write) our own correctly, so my opprobrium will only fall on Brits, Yanks, Aussies, Canucks, Kiwis etc. (Though I might make exception for those from Quebec and leave it to our French friends to put their grammar straight).
