Hi! I'm Ren. 40. 3 kids. Great wife. 5 bikes. 1975 BMW R60/6, 1993 BMW R100R, 2000 Moto Guzzi V11 Sport (Metallic Green), 2004 BMW R1150RT, and a 2005 HD Sportster 1200 Roadster. I repair espresso bars, coffee brewers, and coffee grinders for Starbucks. I used to be a partner in a Guzzi dealership called "Zen Moto". We closed a couple of years ago. I've had 4 different Guzzi cruisers, but I just got my first Guzzi sportbike - a 2000 V11 Sport, like new, with 5100 miles. Bought it from a friend who bought it new from our shop. He's been taking meticulous care of it for me (apparently) all this time. Glad to find your group. I used to be part of Wetleather, but that was a long time ago, in a land far, far away.

BTW, I told you my wife was great? We keep the V11 Sport in the living room. She calls it art. Sorry, her sister's married too. Any coffee addicts out there???

Howdy, Ren.

With that job, can't imagine how you find time to ride. :D

I bought my EV from Zen, but, as you all had shut down when I got the Ballabio, got it at ATD.

BTW, whatever happened to Mike?

Welcome, Ren.

Coffee addict, here! There are several bars and bistros in my neck of the woods that have serious coffee menus. I also hand-grind my breakfast Columbian in one of a small collection of Peugot hand-grinders which date from 1890 to 1953. I know: sad, but pleasurable!

I think I speak for many of us in saying that you ought to post a photo of your wife, so that we can recognise any more like her who might still be at liberty out there.

And I think it's great that you have called your V11 Art. I've always thought that more people should name their bikes as part of the process of bonding with them. :)

Ren,

My dream job, to be around coffee all day! Definately a coffee addict as well as my wife. Glad youv'e posted up here on the board

I am relatively new but there seems to be a lot of good information and discussions going on here about a lotta stuff but especially motorcycling and Guzzis. Looks like youv'e landed one of the most desireable v11's, that great Metallic Green machine. BTW i'm 46 and have 4 kids and just got my first V11 last year, i've always had several bikes in garage but nothing like these Guzzis!

OK ...thats it...close the door

Rens the last one in.....

There's just too many jumpin' on Guzzis lately.

At this rate pretty soon you'll be seeing Guzzis

on the street and in the parking lot when ya pull into

the watering hole. How will I retain my noteriety?

My exclusivity...my delusion of class and distinction?

There'll be dealers on every corner...with parts and everything...

What fun would that be?
