Homing Eagle

A couple of years ago when I only just had the V11, I came back from a ride to discover that the little eagle badge had escaped from the alternator cover and flown away.

I was standing chatting to my new neighbour this afternoon, and glanced down at the edge of the lawn where my wife had been cutting the edges earlier, and a glint of silver caught my eye. I bent down to pick it up and found the missing eagle, complete with adhesive strip and detached silver engine paint.

The Mandello eagle is obviously a bird with homing instincts.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the grass, and an eagle trumps a birdie.

or as the saying goes "if you love something glue it properly, if it ends up on your lawn it's yours, if it ends up in the lawn mower you may have to re sharpen the blades"

or something like that

actually I think the V11 is saying "ride me more!...forget that bolt thing for a while..."

I have actually been riding the V11 at least as much as the 'bolt thing.
