Guest Nogbad Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 A couple of years ago when I only just had the V11, I came back from a ride to discover that the little eagle badge had escaped from the alternator cover and flown away. I was standing chatting to my new neighbour this afternoon, and glanced down at the edge of the lawn where my wife had been cutting the edges earlier, and a glint of silver caught my eye. I bent down to pick it up and found the missing eagle, complete with adhesive strip and detached silver engine paint. The Mandello eagle is obviously a bird with homing instincts.

Guest Nogbad Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 A bird in the hand is worth two in the grass, and an eagle trumps a birdie.
