Hi,

My name is Bill I am 45 years young and I live in Milwaukee, Wi.

I must confess I do not own a Moto Guzzi, I currently ride an HD bagger and a R1200GS. I've been riding for 20 years and have owned various Japanese, American and Bavarian models.

For the last year or so I really seemed to be drawn to the Lemans

I have never ridin one but they are beautiful bikes that just sound fantastic.

I plan to try and get a test ride, but the dealers seem to be even more scarce than Beemer dealers.

In the mean time I will read whats posted by the faithful here.

Again thanx for having me. Bill

Hi Ouiji Veck, I'm looking forward to it, the ride that is. I just wish I could find a Lemans in the area. It would be nice just to be able to sit on one.

I'm curious about the ergos, I'm 6'6" 275 lbs. I notice there are quite a few folks making adjustments to clip ons/bars and pegs. But I guess thats pretty common on all makes and models.

You could just go down to Houston and get the much coveted Nero Corsa Lemans down there at MPH. A lot of people wish it could happen and a few make it happen. I have seen other Lemans come up for sale from time to time. The bike in Houston already has the footpegs lowered and Mike has an outstanding bar riser kit for the bike as well for more comfort. You won't be disappointed.

Wow...your a big guy.

Yea...your gonna need everything you can get

to stretch the LeMan out. I'm 5'8 and used to sport bikes

and the LeMans took time to get used to. The bars seemed lower than

the Duc SS I was on for the previous 3 years. They'r not really "lower"

...just more of a reach. My theory has always been to hammer my body

into what ever contortion necissary...The Duc is surprissingly comfy.

Have done some 500 mi days (W. Va -Ontario) no problem.

The LeMans actually took a little MC Yoga...A day on the first long trip.

I had to borrow a Ninja 900 one time for a trip, by the time I had run around town

and done pre trip chores and met up with the group I was afraid I couldn't go.

My body was wracked...killing me ...and this with my Ninja 6 in the shop!

By the time we stopped for 2ng gas I was doing cartwheels..couldn't wait to get back on it....so ... go figure.

I'm shure there's some tall guys kickin' around here somewhere that can give you a better lowdown.

Good luck whatever you end up doing.

It's the best bike thier is (especially the Nero Corsa ...with the Ohlins

:homer: Mmmmm Ohlins) and a great bunch of guys here.

Good luck whatever you do.

Thanks for the info. I'm used to being a bit cramped, I guess I've just learned to accept it over the years.

I had a K1200GT that was a great bike, but I sold it because I just could not find a "sweet spot" on it. :(

Yeah Wick I have to agree with you the Nero Corsa is a beautiful bike. I'll look for MPH's website.

Thanx for the website info jrt, I'll check it out.

Oh by the way, I mentioned to my wife that I was looking to pick up another bike and she says "I dont care" in a loving way. Is she great or what
