dlaing Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 Buell really put the fun in motorcycles! Not bad, Nogbad.
Guest Nogbad Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 It keeps growing on me. The photo was taken at Silchester Roman fort this morning. I went there via all the twisties I could find. I'm almost to the edge of the rear tyre now and I couldn't say that about any other bike I've had. (Think my tyre bills will be BIG though). The motor isolation works really well, only a slight tingle gets through to the pegs at speed and nothing to the bars at all. I think I could tour on this thing. Can't wait for my anodised span adjustable levers to come, my left hand is killing me! And the plain ally standard levers are making my beige gloves black. 70 miles to go and I can start using the engine gradually harder.

al_roethlisberger Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 Very nice. I like Buells Humorously, the best looking Buell I ever saw was in Brussels.... ...not here in the USofA I think it was an old Lightning, blue, with a cool off-center white stripe running up the fender, over the flyscreen, and down the length of the bike. Frenchbob Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 LOVE the colours..........but do they go with pink?

Ouiji Veck Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Badest looking Buell I've seen. Gotta be a hoot to ride. Congrats.
beauchemin Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Nice, but where's the front fender? Is it extra for a real front fender? What if you want to ride in the wet? Must you put up with road debris all over the engine? This is my pet peeve for most new "sporty" bikes. When did proper front fenders go out of style? Phehh.

Phehh. 86618[/snapback] You can say that about weather protection on all bikes. After getting thoroughly sick of scraping crud off the back of the gearbox due to useless rear guards, I've been trying to get a manufacturer interested in making a hugger for the small blocks for ages. One size fits all, thousands and thousands of them out there. No success.... I really hate cleaning unneccessary road crap off a bike. Not to mention the potential for damage. mike
