Martin Barrett Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 My throttle started to stick. When rolled off it wouldn't fully return. I took the twist grip apart and lubed it and the cable with WD40. In the motorway service station No further problems. I know now that WD40 will dry out and go sticky. When I next service it I'm going to redo it with a light oil.

Unlike the throttle these are more exposed to the elements and require attention from time to time. Good luck. Ciao
