pille Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 when you put the tank back on the bike, should the rubber hose be connected on the left or right metal thing that's underneath the tank? And why should one have a rubber hose on it and the other not? Is it ok to just diconnect the hose? I know the answer is here on the site, but my english is not that good to understand every tecnical word! ciao, pille
Guzzirider Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 As you are looking towards the front of the bike as if you are sitting on it, the hose should be connected on the left hand side. Can't answer the rest of your questions I am afraid! Guy
luhbo Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 I've mine completely removed. Saves fiddling time and also the risk of a closed hose. So far without ANY problems. When I remember right the hose was on the overflow connector. I had it bended once. The result was that the rain water couldn't be drained. So when I opened the tank a really very good portion of water got inside. Somehow it went through as well. I think I was lucky then. Hubert
pille Posted May 22, 2006 Author Posted May 22, 2006 thank you my friends. I had the hose connected to the other thing. now I know what to do!
