Guest Buddy Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Had my V11 Sport for 5 years and it still makes me smile as much as the first time I rode one. Did you know that your ears are really there not to hear with, but to stop your face splitting with the smile from riding a V11! My bikes immediately prior to the V11? GSXR 750s! The V11 has reminded me that it is not just about going faster and faster. I have just come back from an evening ride along the coast road from Lyme Regis to where I live near Exeter. Doesn't get much better than that!

Baldini Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 Had my V11 Sport for 5 years and it still makes me smile as much as the first time I rode one...... After 27yrs on em I'm still smiling! Welcome to the site! KB
wambiker Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 I feel the same, just coming out of the house and seeing my Glorious Green V11 always makes me smile even if I'm not about to ride it! I've run the circus of jap missiles, but get more enjoyment out of the V11 than any of them. If any of you are in Ireland for the owners rally next month see you there. Cheers Gary
Rosso-Kabusa Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 I too came off a Japanese sportbike background (BMW oilhead as well). The Moto Guzzi is magical to me in some way that defies logic.
Guest SantaFeRider Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 this month's Motor Cyclist magazine features the V-11 as "smart money" for anyone who is looking to own an undervalued exotic. It was time we Guzzisti are given some recognition
