Guest Nogbad Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 I just tried the 99 octane "Greenergy" petrol / bioethanol mix on sale at Tesco supermarket stations. The Buell runs a treat on it, smoother and cooler. I'm going to try it in the V11, price is OK at 98.5p / litre. I think this is the highest octane petrol on general sale here.

Hmmm, I thought the UK generally had better availability of higher octane fuels than here in the states? 91555[/snapback] Super here is 97 (BP Ultimate) 98 (Shell Optimax) and 99 (Tesco and Greenergy) The ordinary (premium) is only 91 I think though I don't look that much because my car is diesel and I only put the super in my bikes. When I fill my wife's car with petrol it might as well be rats' piss for all the notice I take.
