99 Octane Unleaded readily available

I just tried the 99 octane "Greenergy" petrol / bioethanol mix on sale at Tesco supermarket stations.

 

The Buell runs a treat on it, smoother and cooler. I'm going to try it in the V11, price is OK at 98.5p / litre.

 

I think this is the highest octane petrol on general sale here.

99 in the UK is the same as 91 US rating (many states get 93). Hmmm, I thought the UK generally had better availability of higher octane fuels than here in the states?

Super here is 97 (BP Ultimate) 98 (Shell Optimax) and 99 (Tesco and Greenergy)

 

The ordinary (premium) is only 91 I think though I don't look that much because my car is diesel and I only put the super in my bikes. When I fill my wife's car with petrol it might as well be rats' piss for all the notice I take.
