Nice photos. That's the way to properly post something about a mod you have made to your bike. :bier: None of this waiting for days for pics? :P

Just thought I would post these two solutions side by side to see how much of a difference there is.

I really like the first two from rossopuro! High pegs low bars! I also like that Quat-D exhaust that's on that bike, I'm starting to get the itch for some new parts! :food: No scratch right now. :(

One thing that keeps the rear sets from going back AND down is the exhaust pipe.

But with the Quat-D that is NOT a problem.

I would love for the pegs to go back three and down about two inches, and the Quat-d would open up that possibility.

It would also be nice to convert the gear shifter to a linkless one up - five down (helps prevent theft : )

But for a lot less money the Buell pegs give an inch, and I presume the rider's heel does not hit the exhaust :huh2::bier:

Is that a straight swap out or did you have to make any modifications?

I just had to bolt them on. All the mods that needed to be done were compelted by the previous owner of the pegs and are covered in the thread to which I have supplied a link to below.

So I went down to the Harley store today - bought the pegs - one interesting thing is that the price of the LH side peg was 12.80 and the RH side peg was 15.95!!!

The springs were only .95c each though.

I am going to use the existing pins so can you elaborate on the electrical conduit used to make a bushing? I dont want to drill out the holes for the same reason you gave - may wish to go back to the original pegs.

Total cost including tax was $32.95 - I thought what the hell, for that price I will give it a go.

Rather shocked as I was expecting them to be a lot more expensive......

There was a fancy Harley Road King on the shop floor....actually I must admit it looked very nice.....until I spotted the $19,000 price tag, plus fees and tax!!!

Switching to the GP shift pattern is simple on the V-11...... just flip over the shifter-shaft arm. There's a bit of a tight fit at the lower frame piece, but that's easily addressed with a very little file action to the shifter arm. Be careful to maintain, as close as you can, a perpendicular angle between the linkage rod and both the shift pedal arm and the shifter-shaft arm. :luigi:

I cut my teeth on a '72 Norton, and while I managed to switch sides, I could never convert patterns. :huh2:
