bigskybo Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Undoubtedly, this has already been discussed, but I have failed to unearth the thread in the archives. I would love to hear your thoughts on the pros and cons of the Ghezzi Brian aluminum OZ wheels available on their site vs. the aluminum PVMs from EMA. In addition, does anyone know of a retailer that carries the OZ rims found on the MGS-01? From what I have found thus far, the OZ rims seem to be considerably lighter in weight than the PVMs. Any other comments from research or experience would be greatly appreciated. Finally, any thoughts on magnesium vs. forged aluminum with regards to the PVMs... Thanks in advance, Bo
Paul Minnaert Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 this has been discused before, but short: -G&B has no cush drive and I think they don't make them anymore. -magnesium isn't reliable for road use. -you can't compare weights from the folder. -the mgs01 wheels are only available at your guzzi dealer, but prepare to double the PVM price. -if you still want magnesium, you also can consider Marvic piuma, they now have a set for the v11, 1990 euro, www.marvic.it
