windchill Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 At last!! This, IMHO, is the ultimate incarnation of the cylinder head slider for a Guz! Rossopuro meets LSL, meets Welsh engineering. Hope you like the pics (if I get them there!)
orangeokie Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 Please DON'T show us how well they work 92331 I was thinking the same thing Bill . . . I said, "here's someone who is expecting the worst!"
windchill Posted June 16, 2006 Author Posted June 16, 2006 Well, I think they look far prettier than the white nylon "bobbins" that everyone else has got!
Van Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 l like 'em !! l also like your bike, looks real nice Cheers Van

Guest MikeC Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 Very nice, although I'm more interested in your gauges. They don't look to be stock, whats the story with them. Mike
BrianG Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 What Where and HOW much? 92371 +1 Cough up!!
windchill Posted June 18, 2006 Author Posted June 18, 2006 Cool!! People being nice!! The gauges are absolutely bog standard, even down to the misting tacho with gromets for all seasons!! The slider fixings are Rossopuro, which I got follwing someone else's lead, with LSL Motorrad "mushrooms" which I bought for my Speed Triple (but fitted "oddly"), connected with home made aluminuium spacers to the same pattern as LSL use. I wanted the head protection, but with something more aesthetically pleasing than the bobbins Rossopuro supply as standard.

windchill Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 I'll try to find the LSL part numbers and measure up the spacers we made.
DeBenGuzzi Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 any update on an FAQ, parts list for this setup you got here? I really like it. I'll sell someone my hand made eagle crash guards once I get it setup like that. it looks hot.
Tim Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 sorry to go off guzzi but what in the name of J***s is that monster in front of the Le Mans Scammel, Mackor what? Tim the truckhead
