callison Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 I was considering purchasing one of these: Actuator with support lever from Moto-Spezial The description however, makes note of an incompatibility of o-ring types between brake fluid and whatever the desired fluid for the clutch cylinder works with. It sounds like the operating fluid is anti-freeze. Does anyone have any input on this? The rear actuator looks really clever but I'm guessing that the approach shown here: is at least as valid.
Murray Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 I'm assuming this is for your 1100 sport. Someone fitted one of these and then removed in a couple months latter I can't remeber why exactly I think it was because it made the clutch heavier. I find the cable clutch quiet manageable on my bike but I don't do a lot of heavy traffic riding.
