belfastguzzi Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Orkadians have Fair Isle. Oooow, better and better: you're a bit high-class-expert for this ole bantery forum. Somebody with so many quiz points shouldn't be allowed to post here! Stena Line claims to be the world’s leading ferry company furthermore, they boast, that is no empty claim and their collection of awards is testimony to that. They must have more f***y ornaments than even Nogbad. Stena Line offers fast ferries, superferries and overnight ferries What's more, you can save money by booking Ferries Online.
Martin Barrett Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 The Fairy Islands suffered a narrow defeat buy the Scots where as the English produced a crushing victory and the the two Irish teams showed solidarity along with the Welsh, in this weekends round of European Cup (2008) (football) qualifiers

My furry 8-) little head is full of useless shit. Such as: Caledonian MacBrayne is the oddest named fairy company I know. John Prescott, our beloved DPM, used to wait on fairies.
belfastguzzi Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 And still that voice came from beyond, "Whatever you do, Don't pay the fairyman, Don't even fix a price, Don't pay the fairyman, Until he gets you to the other side; Caledonian MacBrayne is the oddest named fairy Yes, although I always pictured Cally Macbrayne as more of a grumpy elf. Nidhogg is quite an odd fairy name. Belfastguzzi translates to the fairy name: Field Elfdancer a cheerful sprite who lives in fields where wild flowers and poppies grow. Only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup. Likes to wear red petals in skirt. Has delicate green wings like a cicada. Mike Wilson's fairy name is Columbine Iceshimmer – a bone chilling bringer of justice for the vulnerable. Lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows. Only seen when the first flowers begin to blossom. Wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. Has icy blue butterfly wings. Admin Jaap is Gossamer Demonglimmer a wicked and mischievous child. Lives in spiderwebbed wonderlands and insect grottos. Only seen when the sun sets on the day of a completed harvest. Wears tiny black spiders on dresses. Has red wings like a brightly coloured butterfly. Well, no surprise there, as we know Jaap lives in a web-wonderland of moth grottos. And the other stuff. Road Geez is Fire Rainbowdancer a fortune bringer who lives where fireflies mate and breed. Only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup. (Threads such as, Global Warming and My Bullet is Bigger Than Yours, I suppose.)
Martin Barrett Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Nidhogg is quite an odd fairy name. Tis a Norse dragon or serpent a devourer of corpses. whilst on about Norse and things that aren't fairies, my daughter Freya ( born on a friday ) couldn't be described as fairy like even when dressed up Okay this isn't her but her brother in her fairy dress
belfastguzzi Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 my daughter Freya couldn't be described as fairy like even when dressed up She doesn't take after her father then?
mike wilson Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 She doesn't take after her father then? Only if her head doesn't go to the top of the bluebell flower she wears as a hat. I am in so much trouble.................. That's the nicest thing anyone has said to me in ages. Although I'm not keen on the purple and lilac scenario.

belfastguzzi Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 We saw your special pointy hat wot keeps your brains warm This is your best angle though I like your Moto Guzzi wrist watch. Is that one of the ones that they keep advertising on ebay? I never realised that they're quite so big. Perhaps that's why you fell over?

I don't think Martin's got the knack of reading it, though. "Hint": The clock faces are on the other side.
