Guzzirider Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 After being in the USA for nearly 3 weeks and riding 3000 miles I finally saw my first Guzzi today in Malibu. It was a V11 Sport which I think was custom painted a dark grey metallic and had a red tank cushion and valve covers- I maybe mistaken because it all happened so fast. I was on a blue and silver Road King and exchanged waves- anybody from this forum? Prior to this all I had seen was other Harleys, 2 Dukes in Yosemite and the odd BMW and sports bike. Guy
Guest ratchethack Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Guy, that's one of our one-time regulars, Chris' uniquely appointed Sport. Did you notice the valve covers that have GUZZI in block letters the full width of the covers? They're locally made items. That's Chris.

I'd like a set of those! Ciao, Steve G.

We were both doing about 50mph in opposite directions so I did not catch his bike in detail but it looked pretty nice.
