Frio Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 Hello gentlemen, a quick question: does anybody know whether it is a problem to fit a 17" rear wheel to a pre-RS Daytona? The old Daytonas had 18" rear wheel and I believe only a few tires manufacturers still do decent sporty rubber for that wheel size, so I would like to know if a RS type rear wheel can be fitted to the old Daytona or if modifications are necessary. Thanks!! Frio

zebulon Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 You will need for sure the brake disc, brake plate holder, replace the rear drive (or replace the rear drive casing + the 2 plates fixed on it), perhaps the spacers. I think that s all but not sure. Paul you confirm my thought ? Bought an RS it will be quicker
