OK,will one off a car do? Are there differnt types or are they just basically a one-way valve?

There was some discussion of this before when I posted about excessive mayo. JRT gave some more info then, so I'll look for the thread. I thought that you had contributed to it too – it seems not??

BTW there are photos of the much-talked-about-recently dipstick dangle angle in that thread.

And more talk of the oil light flashing on. Mine came on again a couple of days ago and stayed on for quite a long time – a few seconds: not good. I wasn't accelerating.

Aha.Ok,it had been a long day and I was drinkin.

 

I think it was worsened by the oil.I never had this problem with the castrol.No more Mobil 1 for me.

 

I'm heading outside to have another fiddle with the wiring.Ryan wants a picture of my meter.Not my kind of thing,but hey,I'm a broadminded kind of guy.
