docc Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Looks all the world like a first generation LeMans ( 1976-1978). Old famliy photo or maybe a still from a Canadian Mountie surveillance video?
belfastguzzi Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Do you recognize this bike? It's a bit hard to tell as I can only see the saddle, down tube, a little bit of crossbar and stays. But, yeah, I think there was one like that in the bikeshed at school, way back. Can you get it a bit more in the centre of the photo? P.S. what's that film you're watching with the Honda in it?
Guest Macio Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Looks all the world like a first generation LeMans ( 1976-1978). Oh yes, the first and unique Le Mans (sorry for the V11 Le Mans owners)... What a beauty...
Greg Field Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 The photo's a bit fuzzy. It could be a LeMans 850 or a V50 Monza.

docc Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 BFG . . . up to your old ways. Such a gas to see the old Guzzi parked around aircraft hangers. It was the beginning, after all, with Carlo and Parodi and Ravelli. Often I throttle up the Sport feeling the power-to-weight ratio of a P-51 Mustang thinking, " this is as close as I'll get to flying." At the ton, throttling on, the power and blur rising, I think Ravelli would feel at home.

Although, taking everything off after the headers would be even better.
