Tom M Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I just finished putting up some pictures of the Limerock Vintage festival that I attended a couple weeks ago. If you like cars like these check out the link to my pictures below. (click on thumbnails for larger pictures) Link to more pics: http://img215.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=vint...tival144dq2.jpg The festival was fantastic. You could walk right up to the fence anywhere around the track to watch the racing, or wander the paddock and drool on gorgeous vintage race cars to your hearts content. Here's a link tto the event info: http://www.limerockfallfestival.com/
big J Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Thanks Tom.Those Alfas and Trans Am cars look great.
JoeV11 Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Nice pictures! That is one of my favorite race events - I usually go to that or the ALMS race every year. It's a great place to watch and even the big money pro events allow you to walk through the paddock and drool on the cars. My son is a big video game player, and he was thrilled to see some of his favorite cars in real life. I wish they would have a similar event for vintage motorcycles. Joe

My brother has been to many of the races there, he finally got me to go and I loved it. He said the Ferrari festival is another great event even if you aren't a Ferrari fan. He wasn't until he went, now I think he is. I guess Limerock doesn't have any motorcycle races but Loudon NH does.
badmotogoozer Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 That Alfa is very sweet. If I ever had the money for vintage car racing, I'd have one of those. Always loved them. I'll have to make a point of getting down to Seattle for the vintage races next summer. Haven't been in a few years now. Thanks for the pics!! Rj
