Tom M Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Anyone absolutely apposed to FBF crossovers? I think that builing for torque is my goal here . . . The only problem that I've heard is they lack a mounting tab to attach them to the frame, which may lead to cracked header pipes. I think any welder who does stainless could easily add a mounting tab using the stock crossover as a reference for tab placement.
Greg Field Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 FWIW: The last three FBFs that I have had chance to examine while coming through the shop at MI, including my own, were all in various states of cracking along and then across the weld. FBF has been very good about warranteeing them, though. Top-notch customer service on the issue.
